One day I'll wake up And I'll reach for my Bible I'll exercise my faith I'll pray just to praise I'd have left all the problems as problems I'll keep my mind stayed on him

It is by grace he saved me I never had to work for it If I did, I'd feel entitled to the blood of my covering I still would need to work for it But God is so gracious He ignored my future sin To die for my eternal righteousness

So one day I'll wake up And look to Jesus The author of our faith And praise him for what he did Saved me from me Kept me clean Purchased my salvation And my prayer will be thanks Not a list of my problems

One day I'll wake up And this poem wont just be words
